“In this late summer season of my 50th birthday I am grateful for many things. One of these is my opportunity to provide clinical care for trans and gender non-binary patients at the Grady Gender Center. Celebrating our 7th anniversary, and one of few multi-disciplinary clinics at a safety net hospital, the Gender Center provides life-saving care for a community that often struggles to find inclusive, comprehensive, and patient-centered services.
