Everesting for Grady!
This weekend I'll be riding an elevation gain of over 29,029 feet (the height of Mt. Everest) in a single day to benefit Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
As the largest public hospital in the state of Georgia, Grady has faced extra financial strain during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the state's only nationally verified Level 1 trauma center, serves as a teaching hospital for trainees, and is an active research center. I can't thank Grady enough for the education I've gained there as a medical student.
Your donation will go towards Grady’s lifesaving trauma and emergency services, which are used by over 150,000 patients every year (400+ visits/day!).
Here's what it will take:
- 112 miles of total ride distance
- 24 ascents up Hogpen Gap, one of the most epic climbs in Georgia
- 10 hours of expected ride time
- 1 most epic ride of my life
- Too many snacks to count
Please donate any amount you can, and if you can't donate, ride an extra 10 miles today in support of Grady!
